Description

This Triple Chocolate Mousse Tart is a decadent dessert dream come true with layers of rich dark, creamy milk, and sweet white chocolate mousse on a crunchy chocolate cookie crust. Elegant yet easy to make, it’s the ultimate chocolate lover’s showstopper for any celebration or indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs

  • 5 tbsp melted butter

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Dark Chocolate Mousse:

  • 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Milk Chocolate Mousse:

  • 4 oz milk chocolate, chopped

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

White Chocolate Mousse:

  • 4 oz white chocolate, chopped

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a tart pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes. Let cool completely.

  • Dark Chocolate Mousse: Melt dark chocolate and allow to cool slightly. Whip cream and powdered sugar to soft peaks, then gently fold in melted chocolate. Spread over crust and chill for 15 minutes.

  • Milk Chocolate Mousse: Repeat the process with milk chocolate. Spread over the dark chocolate layer and chill for 15 minutes.

  • White Chocolate Mousse: Repeat again with white chocolate. Spread as the final layer. Chill the entire tart for at least 2 hours or until set.

  • Serve: Garnish with chocolate shavings or curls if desired. Slice and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor.

  • Add a touch of liqueur to each mousse for a flavor boost (like Kahlua, Baileys, or Grand Marnier).

  • This tart can be made a day ahead and stored chilled.
