Description

Savor the bold flavors of this Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet, featuring juicy chicken breasts seared to golden perfection and smothered in a sweet and savory honey-garlic butter sauce. Perfect for a quick 30-minute dinner, this skillet meal brings steakhouse quality right to your kitchen!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Sear chicken for 5–7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, honey, and soy sauce. Stir until butter melts and sauce thickens slightly (2–3 minutes).

  • Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes to coat chicken.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra richness, use a mix of butter and a splash of cream.

  • Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed rice, or roasted veggies.

  • You can use chicken thighs for juicier meat.
