Description

Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta is a bold, flavor-packed fusion dish that combines tender slices of steak with garlicky noodles and a sweet, spicy soy-based sauce. Quick to make and absolutely satisfying, this dish is perfect for busy weeknights or when you crave Asian-inspired flavors with an Italian twist.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, spaghetti, or your choice)

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • Optional: sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until just cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Stir in soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 1–2 minutes to thicken slightly.

  • Return cooked steak to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.

  • Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.

  • Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak briefly in soy sauce and garlic before cooking.

  • Great with a side of steamed broccoli or sautéed bell peppers.
