Description

These Strawberry Cheesecake Donut Holes are bite-sized delights that combine fluffy donut dough with a creamy cheesecake filling and sweet strawberry surprise. Perfect for parties, brunch, or anytime you need a quick, irresistible dessert.

Ingredients

For the Donut Holes:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 large egg

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Strawberry Center:

  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam or preserves

Optional Coating:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) or heat oil to 350°F if frying.

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  • In a separate bowl, mix milk, melted butter, vanilla, and egg. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.

  • In a small bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

  • Take about a tablespoon of dough, flatten slightly, add a dab of cheesecake filling and a bit of strawberry jam in the center, and seal it into a ball.

  • Bake in a mini muffin tin for 10–12 minutes or fry for 2–3 minutes until golden.

  • Optional: Roll warm donut holes in melted butter, then in cinnamon sugar.

Notes

Chill the filling slightly for easier stuffing.

Substitute raspberry jam for a different fruity twist.

These are best fresh but can be stored for up to 2 days.
