Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, sliced into strips

  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or pasta of choice

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, sliced into strips

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook Chicken:

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

    • Cook 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. Cook Shrimp:

    • In the same skillet, cook shrimp for 3–4 minutes until pink and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

  4. Make the Sauce:

    • Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat.

    • Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

    • Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

    • Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until sauce is smooth and creamy.

  5. Combine and Serve:

    • Return chicken, shrimp, and pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in sauce.

    • Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
