Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Do not drain all the fat.

Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly, until a thick gravy forms. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
-
Pour the sausage gravy into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
-
Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and place the pieces on top of the gravy.
-
Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter.
-
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
-
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
-
For extra richness, add shredded cheddar cheese over the gravy before topping with biscuits.
-
Use spicy sausage if you prefer a little heat.
-
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated easily for a quick meal.
