Ingredients

Brownies:

  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 3 tbsp Dutch cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup salted sweet cream butter

  • 1 1/4 cups dark chocolate chips

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1 3/4 cups unwrapped Rolos

Ganache:

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 3 tbsp heavy cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and 1¼ cups dark chocolate chips over low heat, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.

  4. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar into the chocolate mixture until combined.

  5. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until glossy and smooth.

  6. Gradually add dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

  7. Fold in the Rolos gently.

  8. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

  9. Let brownies cool completely.

  10. For the ganache, heat cream in a microwave-safe bowl until hot but not boiling. Pour over ½ cup chocolate chips and let sit for 2–3 minutes. Stir until smooth.

  11. Spread ganache over cooled brownies. Chill to set before slicing.


Notes

  • You can add a sprinkle of sea salt on top for an elevated sweet-salty combo.
