Description

This Quick Sweet and Spicy Honey Pepper Chicken is a fast, flavorful dinner bursting with the perfect balance of sweet honey, savory soy, and a hint of tangy heat. Ready in under 30 minutes, it’s ideal for busy weeknights or a satisfying meal with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through (about 5–6 minutes per side depending on thickness).

  3. In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.

  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet.

  5. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, allowing the sauce to bubble and thicken. Spoon the sauce over the chicken as it cooks.

  6. Serve hot with rice, veggies, or a side salad.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes or chili sauce if you prefer a spicier kick.

  • Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for extra flavor and presentation.

  • Great served over jasmine rice or noodles.
