Description

This Pineapple Dream dessert is a light, creamy, no-bake treat layered with a buttery graham cracker crust and a luscious pineapple cream filling. It’s a refreshing dessert perfect for potlucks, summer gatherings, or a quick sweet fix.

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the Filling:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, well-drained

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
Press evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Set aside.

  2. Make the Filling:
Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Fold in whipped topping, then add well-drained crushed pineapple.

  3. Assemble the Dessert:
Spread the pineapple mixture evenly over the crust.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.

  4. Serve:
Slice into squares and serve chilled. Garnish with extra whipped topping if desired.

Notes

  • Ensure the pineapple is well-drained to avoid a soggy filling.

  • Can be made a day in advance—flavors improve as it chills.

  • Top with toasted coconut or chopped nuts for added texture.
