Ingredients
• 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
• 1/2 cup peach preserves or pie filling
• 1 ripe peach, finely chopped (optional)
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
• Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a muffin tin.
-
Unroll dough into a rectangle. Seal seams if using crescent rolls.
-
Spread peach preserves evenly. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar, and chopped peach (if using).
-
Roll dough from the short side into a log. Cut lengthwise to expose layers.
-
Twist each strip and roll into a swirl. Place in muffin cups, cut side up.
-
Brush tops with melted butter.
-
Bake 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed.
-
Cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
-
Use store-bought puff pastry for flakier layers.
-
Try with apple or berry preserves for variation.
-
Best enjoyed warm but also delicious at room temperature.
