Description

These Oreo Cheesecake French Toast Rolls combine creamy cheesecake filling and crushed Oreos wrapped in soft bread, dipped in a cinnamon-vanilla egg batter, then pan-fried to golden perfection. Drizzled with chocolate and dusted with powdered sugar, they make an indulgent breakfast or dessert treat.

Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 5 Oreo cookies, crushed (filling included)

For the Rolls:

  • 8 slices soft white bread (or brioche), crusts removed

  • 2 tbsp butter, softened (for sealing)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

For Topping:

  • Chocolate syrup or melted chocolate

  • Extra crushed Oreos

  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • Make the Filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in crushed Oreos.

  • Assemble the Rolls: Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the Oreo cheesecake filling along one edge of each slice. Roll tightly and seal the edge with a dab of softened butter to prevent unrolling.

  • Dip & Cook: In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat with a bit of butter. Dip each roll in the egg mixture, coating all sides, then cook rolls for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Serve & Drizzle: Serve warm, drizzled with chocolate syrup or melted chocolate, sprinkled with extra crushed Oreos, and dusted with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

  • Use soft white bread or brioche for easier rolling.

  • Be careful sealing the rolls to avoid filling leakage.

  • Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
