Description

Enjoy a comforting, family-friendly dinner with this One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles. This easy chicken and noodles recipe features juicy chicken breasts and creamy, cheesy egg noodles all made in one skillet—perfect for busy weeknights!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 8 oz egg noodles

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • Prepare Noodles:
In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer. Stir in egg noodles, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes until tender.

  • Combine:
Mix in butter and Parmesan until melted and creamy. Return chicken to the skillet to reheat.

  • Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.

  • Adjust the cream and broth ratio for a thicker or thinner sauce.

  • Add spinach or peas for a pop of green and extra nutrition.
