Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 box (3 oz) orange-flavored gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1/2 cup boiling water

For Garnish: (Optional)

  • Whipped cream
  • Orange slices
  • Extra graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
Make the Orange Gelatin Mixture:

In a small bowl, dissolve the orange-flavored gelatin in ½ cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved, then let it cool to room temperature.
Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and orange zest until smooth.
Add the fresh orange juice and cooled gelatin mixture, mixing until well combined.
Whip the Cream:

In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Cheesecake:

Pour the cheesecake filling over the chilled crust, spreading evenly.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight for best results.
Garnish & Serve:

Before serving, top with whipped cream, orange slices, and graham cracker crumbs if desired.
Slice and enjoy this creamy, citrusy treat!

Notes

  • For a stronger orange flavor, add an extra tablespoon of orange zest.
  • If you prefer a firmer texture, chill the cheesecake overnight.
  • You can also use a pre-made graham cracker crust for convenience.
