Description

This Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole With A Creamy Twist combines layers of rich marinara, savory beef, and a decadent sour cream–cream cheese blend, all topped with melty cheddar cheese. Baked to golden perfection, it’s the ultimate comfort food that tastes like a million bucks!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage for extra flavor)

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 12 oz cooked spaghetti (optional if you want to include pasta in the bake)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef (or sausage) with diced onion and minced garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for about 10 minutes.

  • In a separate bowl, mix softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.

  • Combine the meat sauce with the creamy mixture. (Optional: Stir in cooked spaghetti if using.)

  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.

  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until hot and bubbly with a golden cheese crust.

  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy creamy, cheesy, baked goodness!

Notes

  • Add cooked pasta for a more traditional casserole style.

  • Mix in red pepper flakes or Italian herbs for extra zing.

  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking—just add a few minutes to the bake time.
