Description

This Lobster Ravioli in Garlic Butter Sauce is a rich and elegant dish, perfect for a special occasion or a gourmet weeknight dinner. Featuring tender lobster-filled pasta in a creamy, garlicky butter sauce with Parmesan and a touch of white wine, this dish is indulgent, flavorful, and surprisingly easy to make at home!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 400 g lobster ravioli
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional, replace with stock if preferred)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the Ravioli:

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a gentle boil.
    • Add the lobster ravioli and cook according to package instructions (typically 3-4 minutes).
    • Drain and set aside, reserving ¼ cup of the pasta water.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

    • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
    • Pour in the white wine (or stock) and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, reducing slightly.
  • Add the Cream and Cheese:

    • Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, letting it warm through.
    • Sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and the sauce thickens.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine & Serve:

    • Add the drained ravioli to the sauce, gently tossing to coat. If needed, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with extra Parmesan on top.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
  • Swap heavy cream for half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Pair with a crisp white wine like Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.
  • Serve with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce!
