- 400 g lobster ravioli
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine (optional, replace with stock if preferred)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Cook the Ravioli:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a gentle boil.
- Add the lobster ravioli and cook according to package instructions (typically 3-4 minutes).
- Drain and set aside, reserving ¼ cup of the pasta water.
-
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine (or stock) and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, reducing slightly.
-
Add the Cream and Cheese:
- Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, letting it warm through.
- Sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
-
Combine & Serve:
- Add the drained ravioli to the sauce, gently tossing to coat. If needed, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with extra Parmesan on top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
- Swap heavy cream for half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Pair with a crisp white wine like Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.
- Serve with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce!
