1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)

Pineapple slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and minced garlic.

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add salmon fillets, skin side down if applicable, and sear for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
-
Flip the salmon fillets and pour the honey-pineapple glaze over them.
-
Reduce heat to medium and let the salmon cook for another 4–5 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is thickened.
-
Remove from heat. Garnish with pineapple slices and chopped parsley if desired.
-
Serve hot with your favorite sides!
Notes
-
Adjust the amount of honey if you prefer it less sweet.
-
This dish pairs wonderfully with rice, quinoa, or a fresh green salad.
-
Use fresh pineapple juice for the best flavor, but bottled will work in a pinch.
