Description

This Honey Pineapple Salmon is a sweet, savory, and juicy seafood dish that’s quick to prepare and bursting with tropical flavors! Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, the honey-pineapple glaze caramelizes beautifully over tender, flaky salmon.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Pineapple slices, for garnish (optional)

  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and minced garlic.

  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add salmon fillets, skin side down if applicable, and sear for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.

  • Flip the salmon fillets and pour the honey-pineapple glaze over them.

  • Reduce heat to medium and let the salmon cook for another 4–5 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze is thickened.

  • Remove from heat. Garnish with pineapple slices and chopped parsley if desired.

  • Serve hot with your favorite sides!

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of honey if you prefer it less sweet.

  • This dish pairs wonderfully with rice, quinoa, or a fresh green salad.

  • Use fresh pineapple juice for the best flavor, but bottled will work in a pinch.
