Description

These Homemade Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs are an irresistible dessert mashup featuring safe-to-eat cookie dough wrapped in rich, fudgy brownie batter and baked to perfection. Ideal for parties or when you want a decadent chocolate treat in every bite!


Ingredients

For the Cookie Dough:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

For the Brownie Coating:

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed on the box)

  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips (for drizzle/topping)


Instructions

  • Make the Cookie Dough:

    • Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.

    • Mix in vanilla and milk.

    • Add heat-treated flour and salt, stir until combined.

    • Fold in chocolate chips.

  • Form the Balls:

    • Scoop 1-tbsp portions and roll into balls.

    • Freeze on parchment-lined sheet for 30 minutes.

  • Prepare Brownie Batter:

    • Mix brownie batter according to package instructions. Preheat oven accordingly.

  • Coat the Dough Balls:

    • Dip frozen cookie dough balls in brownie batter to coat completely.

  • Bake the Bombs:

    • Place on lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes or until brownie is set.

  • Cool and Finish:

    • Let cool on a wire rack. Melt mini chocolate chips and drizzle over cooled bombs.


Notes

  • Heat-treat flour to ensure it’s safe to eat raw.

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

  • Drizzle with white chocolate or caramel for variety.
