Description

These Easy Fried Cheese Bites are crispy on the outside, melty on the inside, and incredibly addicting! Made with bite-sized cheese cubes and a crunchy breadcrumb coating, they’re perfect for parties, game day, or anytime snacking.

Ingredients

Makes about 24 bites

  • 8 ounces cheese (such as mozzarella or cheddar), cut into bite-sized cubes

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)

  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

  • Optional: marinara or ranch dressing for dipping

Instructions

  • Prepare a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.

  • Coat each cheese cube in flour, then dip into the egg, and finally coat in breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps once more.

  • Place breaded cheese bites on a tray and freeze for at least 30 minutes to prevent melting during frying.

  • Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  • Fry a few bites at a time for 1–2 minutes until golden brown.

  • Use a slotted spoon to remove and drain on paper towels.

  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Double-coating helps prevent cheese from leaking during frying.

  • Try using pepper jack, Swiss, or even cubes of string cheese.

  • These bites can be frozen after breading and fried directly from frozen.
