Description

This Delicious Angel Beef Casserole is a rich and creamy comfort food favorite, made with savory lean ground beef, tangy Italian seasoning, and a crispy tater tot topping. It’s the perfect make-ahead casserole for weeknight dinners or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • 1/2 cup beef broth

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing mix

  • 7 cups frozen tater tots


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.

  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, melted butter, and Italian dressing mix. Stir until smooth.

  • Mix the cooked beef into the creamy mixture.

  • Spread the beef mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.

  • Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes or until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
