Description

Enjoy these crispy, golden Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Wonton Bites filled with a creamy strawberry cheesecake mixture. Perfect as a bite-sized dessert or party treat, they’re quick to fry, dusted with powdered sugar, and drizzled with chocolate for an irresistible finish.

Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup diced fresh strawberries (pat dry)

  • 1 tbsp strawberry jam (optional, for extra sweetness)

For Assembly:

  • 24 wonton wrappers

  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)

  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

For Serving:

  • Powdered sugar

  • Chocolate sauce or melted white chocolate

  • Extra diced strawberries

Instructions

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in diced strawberries and strawberry jam if using.

  • Place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush the edges with beaten egg, then fold into triangles or pouches, pressing firmly to seal completely.

  • Heat oil in a deep pot or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry wontons in batches for 1–2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  • Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar, drizzled with chocolate sauce, and topped with extra diced strawberries.

Notes

  • Be sure the strawberries are dry to prevent soggy wontons.

  • Use fresh oil for frying to ensure crispiness.

  • These bites are best enjoyed fresh and warm.
