Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • Pepperoncini peppers (optional, whole or sliced)

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.

  • Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly over the top.

  • Add the butter on top of the chicken.

  • Optional: Add 5–6 whole pepperoncini peppers (or more for a tangier kick).

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.

  • Shred the chicken in the crockpot and mix with the juices.

  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or on buns as a sandwich.

Notes

  • Great for meal prep—leftovers reheat well.

  • Try with chicken thighs for an even juicier result.

  • Make it spicy by adding a splash of pepperoncini juice.
