Ingredients
-
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
-
12 oz fettuccine pasta
-
2 cups heavy cream
-
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
-
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning, divided
-
2 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 small onion, diced
-
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Cook the Pasta: Boil fettuccine in salted water per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
-
Prepare the Steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and half the Cajun seasoning. Sear for 4–5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
-
Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and onion, sautéing until translucent (2–3 minutes). Stir in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and add Parmesan and remaining Cajun seasoning. Mix until smooth.
-
Combine Ingredients: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until coated. Add steak back to the skillet and stir to combine.
-
Garnish and Serve: Top with chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
-
Adjust the Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
-
Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
-
Try using shrimp or chicken as a protein alternative.
