Cake:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

1 cup mashed bananas (about 3 bananas)
Cream Cheese Frosting:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

3-4 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the sour cream and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the creamed mixture.

Stir in the mashed bananas until just blended.

Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
