Description

Crack Chicken Noodle Soup is the ultimate comfort food—creamy, cheesy, and packed with ranch flavor, tender chicken, crispy bacon, and hearty noodles. This cozy, family-friendly soup is quick to prepare and irresistibly delicious, making it a go-to favorite for chilly nights and busy weeknights alike.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

  • 8 oz egg noodles

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion until soft (3–4 minutes), then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  • Add chicken broth, water, chicken breast, and ranch seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked.

  • Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions (about 8–10 minutes).

  • Reduce heat to low and stir in cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and heavy cream until melted and creamy.

  • Add crumbled bacon and season with salt and pepper. Let the soup heat through.

  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use rotisserie chicken and add a dash of hot sauce.

  • Substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese for a lighter version.
