Description

This creamy Classic Spinach Dip made with Knorrs Vegetable Soup Mix, sour cream, and chopped spinach is the perfect party appetizer. Served in a bread bowl or with fresh veggies, this spinach dip is a crowd-pleasing classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Knorrs Vegetable Soup Mix

  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, drained and chopped

  • 3 green onions, chopped

  • 1 round bread bowl (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Spinach:

    • Thaw frozen spinach and squeeze out excess water. It should be very well-drained to prevent watery dip.

  • Mix the Dip:

    • In a large bowl, combine the Knorrs Vegetable Soup Mix, mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped water chestnuts, and green onions.

    • Stir in the spinach until evenly mixed.

  • Chill the Dip:

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for best flavor.

  • Serve:

    • If using a bread bowl, hollow out the center and pour the dip inside.

    • Serve with reserved bread chunks or fresh cut vegetables.

Notes

  • Let the dip chill overnight for even better flavor.

  • Can be made a day in advance—just stir before serving.

  • Substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
