Ingredients
For the bars:

1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar

1/4 cup (55g) brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the cinnamon swirl:

1/3 cup (70g) brown sugar, packed

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the cream cheese frosting:

4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup (120g) powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.

In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.

Press dough into pan evenly.

Mix swirl ingredients: brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Drop spoonfuls on dough and swirl gently with a knife.

Bake for 22–25 minutes or until golden and set. Cool completely.

Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until fluffy.

Spread frosting over cooled bars. Cut into squares and enjoy!
