2 tablespoons heavy cream
-
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
-
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread pecan halves on a baking sheet and toast for 5–7 minutes, until fragrant. Cool completely.
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramel candies with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.
-
In another microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals until fully melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
-
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange toasted pecans into small clusters of 4–5 pieces each.
-
Spoon a small amount of melted caramel over each cluster, followed by a spoonful of melted chocolate.
-
Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cluster.
-
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until set.
-
Once firm, remove from parchment and store in an airtight container.
Notes
-
You can use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor or white chocolate for a twist.
-
Add a drizzle of extra caramel or crushed pretzels on top for a crunchier bite.
-
Store in a cool place to prevent melting—ideal for holiday gifting or party platters.
