Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

  • 1 cup caramel candies (or caramel bits)

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread pecan halves on a baking sheet and toast for 5–7 minutes, until fragrant. Cool completely.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramel candies with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.

  3. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals until fully melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange toasted pecans into small clusters of 4–5 pieces each.

  5. Spoon a small amount of melted caramel over each cluster, followed by a spoonful of melted chocolate.

  6. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cluster.

  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until set.

  8. Once firm, remove from parchment and store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • You can use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor or white chocolate for a twist.

  • Add a drizzle of extra caramel or crushed pretzels on top for a crunchier bite.

  • Store in a cool place to prevent melting—ideal for holiday gifting or party platters.
