Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 2 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream the Base:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy (about 2 minutes). -
Add Sugars:
Add granulated and brown sugars. Beat until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes). -
Mix in Eggs and Vanilla:
Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated (about 1 minute). -
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined (about 3 minutes). -
Add Chocolate Chips:
Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula (about 1 minute). -
Chill the Dough:
Cover the dough and refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up. -

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are set. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
