Description

Indulge in these irresistible Chocolate Caramel Peanut Butter Pretzel Bars! A crunchy, salty-sweet layered dessert packed with peanut butter, gooey caramel, and rich chocolate—perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzels, crushed

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter, divided

  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/2 cup peanut butter. Mix well.

  • Press the pretzel mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined 9×9-inch baking pan to form a crust.

  • In another bowl, mix the remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter with powdered sugar until smooth.

  • Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the pretzel crust.

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel candies and heavy cream. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring each time, until melted and smooth.

  • Pour the caramel evenly over the peanut butter layer and spread with a spatula.

  • Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.

  • Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer and spread it evenly.

  • Refrigerate the pan for about 1–2 hours until fully set.

  • Once firm, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For an extra salty touch, sprinkle flaky sea salt over the chocolate layer before chilling.

  • You can use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.

  • Store bars in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
