Description

This Chicken Alfredo Bake is the ultimate comfort food — featuring juicy chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, and gooey cheese baked to golden perfection. Ready in just 30 minutes, it’s a creamy, cheesy, crowd-pleasing dinner perfect for weeknights or family meals.

Ingredients

Chicken & Seasoning:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Pasta & Sauce:

  • 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta

  • 3 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Cheese Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Optional Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Cook the Chicken:
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Add cubed chicken, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté until fully cooked and golden brown.

  • Combine and Layer:
In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, Alfredo sauce, cooked chicken, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Transfer to a greased baking dish.

  • Top and Bake:
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.

  • Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a shortcut.

  • Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra veggies.

  • Make it ahead and refrigerate before baking (increase bake time by 10 minutes if cold).
