Ingredients
-
1 pint of fresh strawberries
-
8 oz cream cheese, softened
-
1/2 cup powdered sugar
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
-
Optional toppings: chocolate drizzle, crushed nuts, or sprinkles
Instructions
-
Prepare the Strawberries:
Wash and dry strawberries. Hull each by cutting off the stem and scooping out a small hollow in the center. Don’t cut through the bottom. -
Make the Cheesecake Filling:
In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy and fluffy. -
Fill the Strawberries:
Spoon or pipe the cheesecake filling into each hollowed strawberry, letting it overflow slightly for a pretty presentation. -
Add the Graham Cracker Crumbs:
Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the tops of the filled strawberries to mimic a cheesecake crust. -
Optional Toppings:
Drizzle with chocolate, or sprinkle crushed nuts or festive sprinkles for added flavor and flair. -
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld and the filling set.
Notes
Best served chilled and within 24 hours for freshness.
To prep ahead, you can make the filling a day in advance and fill the strawberries just before serving.
Use a star piping tip for a decorative touch.
