Description

Ingredients

For the Base:

  • 1 box cake mix (any flavor)

  • 1 stick butter, melted

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 13×9-inch baking pan.

  • Prepare the Base: In a large bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, and 2 eggs until combined. Stir in nuts if using. Spread in the prepared pan.

  • Make Cream Cheese Topping: In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and egg until smooth.

  • Assemble: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake base.

  • Bake: Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is set and golden.

  • Cool & Serve: Let cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
