Description

A rich and spicy twist on classic Alfredo, this Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta combines tender sirloin steak, succulent shrimp, and creamy Alfredo sauce with bold Cajun flavors. It’s the perfect comfort meal for seafood and steak lovers alike

Ingredients

For the steak:

  • 1 lb boneless sirloin steak, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Alfredo sauce:

  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the pasta:

  • 1 lb penne pasta

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil the penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Season the Steak and Shrimp: Mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub half on steak and the rest on shrimp.

  • Cook the Steak: Sauté steak slices in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side. Set aside.

  • Cook the Shrimp: Sauté shrimp in the same skillet until pink and cooked through, about 2–3 minutes per side. Set aside.

  • Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, combine soup, milk, Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Simmer 10–15 minutes until smooth and thickened.

  • Combine Steak and Shrimp: Stir steak and shrimp into the Alfredo sauce.

  • Toss with Pasta: Add cooked pasta and toss until fully coated.

  • Serve: Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan or chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Substitute the cream of mushroom soup with heavy cream for a richer homemade Alfredo sauce.

  • You can use fettuccine or linguine if penne is unavailable.

  • Adjust Cajun spice level to your preference by adding cayenne or hot sauce.
