Description

These Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are loaded with flavor—juicy chicken cubes seasoned to perfection and finished with a bold, creamy bang bang sauce. Whether made in the air fryer or oven, they’re a crowd-pleasing appetizer or protein-packed main dish!


Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, cubed

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Skewers (soaked in water if using wooden skewers)

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon honey


Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken cubes with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

  • Assemble the Skewers: Thread seasoned chicken onto skewers, keeping sizes uniform.

  • Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayo, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth.

  • Cook – Air Fryer Method: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook skewers for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).

  • Cook – Oven Method: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake skewers on parchment-lined tray for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Sauce and Serve: Brush warm skewers with bang bang sauce. Serve with extra sauce on the side if desired.


Notes

  • Adjust sriracha for more or less heat.

  • Perfect served with rice, noodles, or fresh veggies.
