Description

Apple Pie Bombs are irresistibly soft biscuit dough balls filled with warm, cinnamon-spiced apple pie filling and coated in buttery sugar. These easy, bite-sized treats bring all the comfort of a classic apple pie in a handheld form—perfect for parties, brunches, or cozy dessert cravings!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (16 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury)

  • 2 cups (300g) apple pie filling

  • 1 teaspoon (5g) ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) vanilla extract

  • Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine apple pie filling and cinnamon; stir well.

  • Roll Out the Biscuits: Open biscuit cans, separate, and flatten each biscuit to ¼ inch thick.

  • Fill the Biscuits: Add about 1 tablespoon of apple filling to the center of each biscuit.

  • Seal the Bombs: Fold up the edges and pinch to seal completely, forming a ball.

  • Coat with Butter and Sugar: Dip each ball in melted butter, then roll in sugar. Place seam side down on the baking sheet.

  • Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Serve: Let cool slightly and optionally dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use homemade apple pie filling for a more rustic flavor.

  • Add a pinch of nutmeg or cloves for extra spice.

  • Serve with caramel sauce or vanilla ice cream for a dessert upgrade.
